Korpiklaani (fin. „Leśny Klan”) - zespół folk metalowy z Finlandii (Lahti).
Pierwotnie nazwa zespołu brzmiała Shaman, pod którą nagrał dwa albumy; w 2003 roku zamieniona na Korpiklaani (brazylijski zespół o nazwie Shaman wygrał sprawę o prawa autorskie). Zmiana nazwy pomocna była jednak też do zaznaczenia zmiany kierunku muzycznego, jaką obrał zespół. Główną różnicą było wprowadzenie angielskich i fińskich tekstów piosenek oraz przeniesienie ciężaru muzyki z folku na metal.

Vitamin X or VX is a hardcore punk and thrashcore band from Amsterdam, Netherlands that was formed in 1997. They are named as one of the best and most important hardcore punk bands going. Their unique sound is characterized by furious hardcore punk mixed with turbo-charged thrash, 70's rock riffage and wild guitar solos. The members are straight edge but this does not reflect their lyrics or music. Their current line-up consists of four members: Marko Korac (vocals), Alex Koutsman (bass guitar), Wolfi (drums), and Marc Emmerik (songwriter, guitar).
Known for their witty socio-political lyrical themes and energetic live performances the band recorded several seminal full-length albums and singles on various international labels, mainly US label Havoc Records (Kylesa, Wolfbrigade, Fucked Up, From Ashes Rise, etc). The band has completed multiple tours of North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia, South East Asia and Russia. In 2001 and 2004 they played CBGB's, New York to a sold-out crowd. At a 2006 MTV live studio performance in Brasil a riot broke out after the band smashed their instruments.
Their 2008 album Full Scale Assault was recorded in Chicago by Steve Albini featuring a guest appearance by Negative Approach singer John Brannon and artwork by John Baizley of Baroness. It received critical acclaim from publications such as Metal Maniacs, Maximumrocknroll, Profane Existence, Suburban Voice, Exclaim!, and many more, several of them naming it as one of the best hardcore punk albums of 2008/2009

Złodzieje Rowerów – jedna z czołowych polskich grup hardcore punkowych lat 90. XX wieku.
Zespół powstał wiosną 1993 w Zambrowie, pod wpływem filmu "Złodzieje rowerów" włoskiego neorealisty Vittorio De Sica. Używają też nazwy ZXRX. Muzykę ZXRX powszechnie określa się jako emohardcore, wywodzący się w prostej linii od amerykańskiego zespołu Verbal Assault. Złodzieje Rowerów grali m.in. z takimi zespołami jak: Apatia, Harum-Scarum, As Friends Rust, Highscore, Lvmen, Homomilitia, Resisters czy Inner Terrestrials. Zespół wielokrotnie brał udział w imprezach wspierających takie inicjatywy jak np. Amnesty International, Food Not Bombs, Federacja Zielonych, Anarchistyczny Czarny Krzyż czy squatting. Odbył kilka tras koncertowych odwiedzając Francję, Anglię, Niemcy, Austrię, Białoruś, Litwę czy Łotwę. Zespół na koncie ma cztery albumy – "Złodzieje Rowerów", "Emo'la", "Ten Moment" oraz najnowszy z kwietnia 2009- "...Gdy Wrzała Krew". Od początku istnienia związany był z warszawską wytwórnią niezależną – Refuse Records. Członkowie ZXRX współtworzyli również inne zespoły: JUDY 4, OREIRO, APRIL, SANCTUS JUDA, KARMA, TOKARZ INFERNO.
26 kwietnia 2010 zespół został rozwiązany.

GISM (ギズム Gizumu?) was a Japanese hardcore punk band formed in Tokyo in 1980. Even though the guitar style resembled heavy metal in many aspects, GISM was one of the first Japanese hardcore bands, while at the same time drawing influence from the early industrial/avant-garde music scene—something extremely uncommon in punk bands at that time.
The acronym GISM had many different variations; they include: "Guerrilla Incendiary Sabotage Mutineer" (original), "God In the Schizoid Mind", "General Imperialism Social Murder", "Genocide Infanticide Suicide Menticide", "Gay Individual Social Mean", and "Gnostic Idiosyncrasy Sonic Militant".
GISM has attained a cult status in the international punk scene, duly for their unique blend of heavy metal and hardcore punk. Numerous punk and metal bands have emulated the distinct vocal style of Sakevi Yokoyama. Roadrunner Records ranked Sakevi No. 49 out of 50 of The Greatest Metal Frontmen of All Time.
